World Press Photo 2013: explaining and motivating the jury choices

Do you want to know more about the reasons why the jury of World Press Photo 2013 made their selection of photos and series? PhotoQ offers a video registration of the press conference in Amsterdam where chair Santiago Lyon elaborates on 18 pictures. And we added individual video interviews with jury members Ghaith Abdul-Ahad (photographer and special correspondent The Guardian) and Anne Wilkes Tucker (curator photography Museum of Fine Arts, Houston).
While showing a number of winning pictures jury chair Santiago Lyon (AP) explains why and how the selections were made. Introduction by World Press Photo’s managing director Michiel Munneke.
