Sinds enkele dagen is het mogelijk om foto’s in te sturen voor de komende World Press Photo jurering. Tot uiterlijk 13 januari 2011, 23.59 uur kunnen fotografen en hun agentschappen materiaal uploaden, maar ze moeten zich wel uiterlijk 7 januari inschrijven.
Over de jury meldt World Press Photo:
Nineteen recognized professionals in the field of press photography worldwide will judge the entries at the World Press Photo office in Amsterdam from 29 January until 10 February 2011.
For the second year, specialized juries judge their categories in the first part of the contest. In the final round, one representative per category will join the general jury to ensure continuity.
