De fotoveiling bij Sotheby’s vorige week woensdag in New York bleef, net als de dag ervoor, met redelijk veel onverkocht werk zitten: een vijftigtal foto’s van de bijna 200 aangeboden foto’s bleef onverkocht. In totaal werde 77 foto’s niet verkocht en 170 wel.
Onder de niet verkochte werken was ook een foto van Erwin Olaf, uit de serie Grief.
Het veilinghuis schrijft zelf: ‘Given the current uncertainty in the financial markets, we are more than gratified by these results.’
