Een groep van zes Belgische fotografen heeft een platform opgericht voor sociale reportage-fotografie. De zes hebben ieder een eigen benadering, en ze hopen dat ieders fotografie erop vooruitgaat door de samenwerking.
Op hun Engelstalige website omschrijven de fotografen (in leeftijd variërend van 25 tot 36 jaar) hun uitgangspunten: ”The Photolimits photographers have all eyes turned towards the world. They strive to capture the world from a humanistic point of view, taking its complexity into full account. The stories told by the Photolimits photographers cover a range of themes as diverse as social conflict, environmental pollution, religion, migration, etc… But the red thread throughout this diversity is a strong faith in the effectiveness of social reportage, as well as a solid belief in the strengths and workings of the ‘photo story’.’
