De dit jaar ingevoerde huisstijl van de Fotografenfederatie heeft eind vorige maand in Singapore een red dot design award gewonnen. Ontwerper Koeweiden Postma hoort daarmee tot enkele tientallen uitverkorenen die uit 12 duizend inzendingen uit zestig landen een prijs kregen.
De jury schrijft over het ontwerp: ‘The association of freelance photographers underline their claim to leadership, with regard to their competence in the field of photography, with a matter-of-fact appearance. The new corporate design renounces any reproduction of photographs. It is reduced to a purely graphic and typographic realisation. In many variations, clearly defined colour patterns are used and the logo, made of a black and red lettering, is strikingly set apart. By its specific treatment, the art design is evocative of a photographic form language.’
